The George Washington Heritage Trail is a 112 mile motorized scenic loop tour through the Eastern Gateway of West Virginia. Harper's Ferry
Located at the confluence of the Shenandoah and Potomac rivers at the borders of West Virginia, Virginia and Maryland, Harper's Ferry is known for its incredible beauty and rich historical heritage. Antietam Battlefield
This battle claimed more than 23,000 men killed, wounded, and missing in one single day, September 17,1862, and led to Lincoln's issuance of the Emancipation Proclamation.
