flowers and shrubs in a park-like setting. The manor provides a quiet, restful, and
scenic place to relax. While visiting, take a

The Manor is located in the small village
of Gerrardstown, West Virginia. Gerrardstown is just 3 miles west of Interstate 81, halfway
between Martinsburg, WV and Winchester, VA.
The
house is located on 2 acres of land near the center of town. The grounds are
well-groomed and landscaped to attract many species of birds and
wildlife. Flowers and shrubs bloom from April to November.
Sitting on the front porch is a natural past-time either playing
checkers, having a smoke, watching the birds, taking in the blue hue of
North Mountain, or just rocking. An apple orchard fills the
backyard with several varieties for the picking, when in season, or you
can wander down to the gourd garden.
Inside, guests are welcome to read or watch television in the front
parlor or enjoy tea and homemade sweets in the formal dining room during the
mid-afternoon. The house is decorated with family pieces,
antiques, and period reproductions. The Manor is air-conditioned
throughout.
A full, hearty breakfast is served until 10:00 a.m. each morning.
Please tell the innkeepers when you would like breakfast served.
You can look forward to fresh fruit plate (in season), pastries, gourmet
beverages, and an entree. Some guest favorites include Belgian yeast waffles, orange French toast,
eggs benedict, and sausage with egg quiche.
Mill Creek Manor Bed and Breakfast is open year-round. Advance reservations are highly recommended.
